Generation Girls is a 10-week empowering drama programme for girls. Led by a female facilitator and supported by a team of trained female peer educators aged (18 - 21), the programme explored those issues that matter most to young women in a safe and supportive environment. Topics included self esteem and body image, healthy relationships, and mental health.
Having successfully completed four pilot projects with a range of different groups, Peer Productions are now rolling our the programme in special schools for girls with learning difficulties or disabilities and autistic girls. We are currently delivering this project at The Park School, Carwarden House Community School, Gosden House School and The Abbey School.
Please see below a two minute video which we made as part of our successful application to Children in Need.
